Office of Distance Learning Logo

This message to all students has been approved by Robert Fuselier, Director of the Office of Distance Learning, for distribution to students.

The Office of Distance Learning has created videos to help students navigate Canvas, the university’s learning management system. Whether you’re new to Canvas or already know your way around, these short videos can help you keep up with your classes:

  • This video covers the top five tips to help you get started in Canvas: course syllabus, course module, calendar and to-do list, assignments, and notifications.
  • In this video, you’ll get a closer look at the courses on your Canvas dashboard. You’ll learn how to customize your courses by name and color, where to find upcoming assignments, how to submit a ticket for technical support, and how to send messages to your classmates.

Please know that the Office of Distance Learning continues to provide support to the FSU community during this season of remote learning. You can contact us at 850-644-4635 or visit our student website. If you need assistance with Canvas or related teaching and learning technologies, contact ODL Technical Support. We’re happy to help!
