This workshop is a part of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Coordination Network (RCN) awarded project (NSF CoPe RCN: Resilient Rural Infrastructure (RISE1940319). This RCN explores how to achieve adaptive resilience for Gulf coastal communities, which has the potential to extend to the infrastructure resilience of other rural communities and aims to foster a new understanding of the complex interactions among the key elements of community resilience in rural coastline areas. The RCN aims to bring together researchers from different fields, who otherwise would not be able to network, to form working groups.
