#MSDStrong Community Gathering Tomorrow

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to opportunity for togetherness, community and remembrance on February 14, 2020 from 1:30pm-2:30pm. Join us for a moment of silence at 2:00pm, as the Florida State community stands unconquered with the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Community. 

 

STUDENT RESOURCES

University Counseling Center (UCC) provides confidential crisis and counseling services to students who are coping with overwhelming circumstances. These services include but are not limited to crisis counseling, ongoing individual and group counseling, mental health outreach, and community intervention. UCC services are available 24 hours a day: Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm by visiting the second floor (suite 250) of the Askew Student Life Building, or by calling 850-644-TALK (8255) to speak with an on-call crisis counselor after 4pm, on weekends, and holidays.

Office of Case Management Services within the Department of Student Support and Transitions provides immediate support to students experiencing a difficult time or a crisis situation.  Case Management assists in connecting students to immediate resources on campus and can provide faculty notification due to crisis.  Case Management Services are available 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday in 4109 of University Center A for walk-ins. You may also call The Department of Student Support and Transitions at 850-644-2428. 

Victim Advocate Program (VAP) provides confidential support services to students, staff, or faculty who have experience a victimization or traumatic event. These services include but are not limited to crisis intervention, academic support, education and advocacy through legal, medical or student conduct processes. VAP services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 850-644-7161 or by visiting room 4109 University Center A Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm for a walk in appointment.
