MoFA Uncorked Series: Intertwined: Labor and Technology in Contemporary Textile Art

Join us for the next installment of MoFA's Uncorked series: 'Intertwined: Labor and Technology in Contemporary Textile Art', from 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26.

Enjoy some nibbles and wine while being led by expert curators for a special behind-the-scenes tour on their latest exhibition, Intertwined. Dr. Tenley Bick, assistant professor of global contemporary art in the Department of Art History, will discuss Jeffrey Gibson and the history of the Venice Biennale. Gibson, whose work "PROTECTS THE LAND" is currently on view at MoFA, will represent the United States in the influential art exhibition in Italy next year. 
Tickets are $25 and space is limited, so we encourage you to make reservations in advance. All proceeds will support the College of Fine Arts.
