This message has been approved by Dr. Janet Kistner, Vice President for Faculty Development and Advancement, for distribution to faculty and staff.

FSU is proud to bring Dr. Joy Gaston Gayles back to campus. Dr. Gayles is a Professor at North Carolina State University and an experienced NCFDD presenter. On Friday morning, November 22, Dr. Gayles will lead a three-hour workshop for faculty titled “Mentoring 101.” This workshop helps faculty create a strong network of mentors and gives them tools for cultivating successful mentoring relationships. The workshop is especially helpful to faculty who are seeking promotion and/or tenure; however, specialized faculty may also find it helpful.  Senior faculty members who are, or would like to, mentor junior faculty will also find this workshop useful.
