Mental Health First Aid Training – Become a Certified Mental Health First Aider!

FSU Counseling & Psychological Services invites FSU staff, faculty, and student leaders to participate in a Mental Health First Aid Training this fall.

Date: Friday, September 12, 2025

Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Location: The Globe

What You’ll Learn:

  • How to identify signs and symptoms of mental health challenges.

  • How to approach and support someone in crisis.

  • How to connect individuals with appropriate resources.

Why It Matters:

Mental Health First Aid equips you with the tools to support someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis—similar to CPR, but for mental health. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Mental Health First Aid Certification.
