Want to learn about leadership in the great outdoors? Check out Leadership LOGIC (Learning in the Outdoors for Group & Individual Change) from the Center for Leadership & Service, a retreat that engages participants in leadership development through experiential learning.

Each semester, the center offers LOGIC sessions focused on a specific leadership model, where participants can apply their new knowledge in a variety of activities, including the FSU Challenge Course.

This semester, LOGIC is trying something new: a one-day session at the FSU Lakefront Park on Oct. 19 that incorporates waterfront activities as a means for students to put the situational leadership model into practice.

Leadership LOGIC specifically caters to students who haven't had much experience with leadership development programs, but each session offers something new as the curriculum shifts to new models of leadership and participants explore leadership knowledge and skills through individual, small group and large group interactions.

Registration for the fall session is currently open through Sept. 28.
