Join Upcoming ASPIRE Town Hall Meetings
This message has been approved by Kathleen Haughney, Assistant Director for Research Communications, for distribution to students, faculty and staff.
Since the launch of ASPIRE (A Strategic Plan to Inspire Research Excellence) in 2023, our university has made major strides across our research enterprise. We have welcomed new expertise to our research community, opened new spaces that expand research possibilities, and introduced support mechanisms aimed at helping move your work forward.
At the same time, the national research landscape has changed. Many funding priorities and policies have shifted, and we must ensure our strategic goals and investments remain ambitious and relevant.
We invite you to join me for a series of town hall meetings to discuss our progress and, more importantly, to hear your perspectives on how we should adapt the ASPIRE plan for the future.
Session 1:
- Date: Monday, April 20
- Time: 3:30 p.m.
- Location: Interdisciplinary Research and Commercialization Building | 2001 Levy Ave.
Session 2:
- Date: Wednesday, April 22
- Time: 3 p.m.
- Location: Broad Auditorium, Claude Pepper Center | 636 W. Call St.
Your voice is essential. The strength of the ASPIRE plan lies in its ability to reflect the diverse needs of our campus community. Whether you are new to FSU or have been here for many years, we encourage you to attend and share your insights.
In the meantime, please review our current goals and our Steps Forward report that outlines initiatives completed over the past two years at aspire.fsu.edu.
