This message has been approved by Steve McDowell, assistant provost for International Initiatives, for distribution to students, faculty and staff.
Florida State University highlights its internationalization and global awareness efforts during International Education Month in November. The monthlong celebration expands upon International Education Week, a joint initiative led by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education held nationally the third week of November.
With European study centers in England, Spain and Italy, a branch campus in the Republic of Panama and more than 45 global exchange programs, FSU’s international impact is significant. This semester, Florida State welcomed its largest cohort of international students from 74 countries, including Austria, India, Japan, France and Denmark.
Events are free and open to the public and run through November. For more information, visit global.fsu.edu/iem.
