- Describe the trends in opioid misuse and deaths from overdoses over the last 20 years in the U.S. and Florida
- Identify how and why opioids are used and their effects on an individual’s brain and body
- Describe risk factors, signs, and symptoms for opioid misuse
- Identify screening and assessment for opioid misuse
- Identify co-occurring disorders that impact the assessment and treatment of persons with opioid abuse
- List evidence-based options for treating opioid misuse
- Identify resources and referrals for opioid misuse
