ICON-Health Book Club
This message has been approved by Drs. Regan Bailey and Patrick Stover, Directors of the Institute for Connecting Nutrition and Health (ICON-Health), for distribution to students, faculty and staff.
Join the new ICON-Health Book Club as we read Adaptable: How Your Unique Body Really Works and Why Our Biology Unites Us by Dr. Herman Pontzer—a PEN/E.O. Wilson Award finalist exploring human physiology, gene–environment interplay, and modern health disparities. Written for specialists and non-specialists alike, this book aligns with the ICON-Health mission and sets the stage for Dr. Pontzer’s visit to FSU on September 21–22 as part of the inaugural ICON-Health Eminent Scholar Seminar Series, co-sponsored by the FSU Department of Anthropology.
Book club meeting logistics are forthcoming.
