This message to faculty and staff has been approved by Robert Fuselier, Director of the Office of Distance Learning.

As we settle into a new semester, the FSU Testing Center continues to offer form scanning for paper-based tests, online proctoring through Honorlock, and in-person specialty exams like CLEP and Modern Language Placement. In addition, anyone interested in becoming Microsoft- or Adobe-certified is welcome to register for one of our professional certification exams.

Scantron Form Scanning

The FSU Testing Center provides Scantron (bubble-sheet) form scanning for multiple-choice exams and surveys. Scanning jobs may be dropped off in one of two locations:

Instructors can access their results online as soon as the scanning job is complete (allow up to three business days for processing). Blank forms are available to departments at no charge. See odl.fsu.edu/scanning for more information.

Honorlock Online Proctoring

Honorlock remains available to instructors who need online proctoring services and are unable to make use of alternative assessment strategies. See Honorlock Resources for Instructors to learn more about using Honorlock, and don’t forget to include information on testing with Honorlock in your syllabus. You can find sample text in Recommended Syllabus Language for Honorlock Exams. If you need technical assistance with Honorlock, submit a ticket to ODL Technical Support or call 850-644-8004 Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, and we will be happy to assist you.

In-Person Exams

We offer a variety of specialty exams in-person at the FSU Testing Center. In addition to Modern Language Placement, CLEP, and TEAS, we now provide professional certifications, including Microsoft Office Specialist, Adobe Certified Professional, and Information Technology Specialist.

To register, visit testing.fsu.edu. Slots open for registration two to four weeks before the exam's start date and are available on a first-come basis.
