This message has been approved by Robert J. Fuselier, Director of the Office of Distance Learning, for distribution to all faculty and staff.

In addition to proctored testing for specialty exams like Modern Language Placement and CLEP, the main campus Testing Center offers Scantron (bubble-sheet) form scanning services for paper-based, multiple-choice exams. Honorlock is also available for instructors who need online proctoring services this fall.

Specialty Exams

Most specialty assessments are available online, including Florida Civic Literacy, Modern Language Placement, and Accounting Competency. To register for an in-person exam at the Testing Center, students can visit distance.fsu.edu/testing. Please note that slots open for registration 2-4 weeks before the exam's start date and are available on a first-come basis.

Form Scanning

Scanning jobs may be dropped off in the Testing Center drop box, available Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Departments can order blank forms, review test data, and view images of scanned forms via the online Job Tracking System. Learn more at odl.fsu.edu/scanning.

Honorlock

Honorlock is available for instructors who need online proctoring services and are unable to make use of alternative assessment strategies. See Honorlock Resources for Instructors to learn more about using Honorlock. Please be sure to include information on testing with Honorlock in your syllabus. You can find sample text in Recommended Syllabus Language for Honorlock Exams. If you need technical assistance with Honorlock, please contact ODL Technical Support by submitting a ticket or calling 850-644-8004 Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
