FSU SunTrust Customers: Important Changes Coming Soon

This message has been approved by Michael Williams, Associate Vice President for Finance & Administration, for distribution to students.

Students,

We want to inform you of an important change for FSU students who have a SunTrust bank account linked to their FSUCard.  If you currently have an active SunTrust Mastercard® Debit Card you will not be impacted by this change.

The link between the SunTrust account and the FSUCard will be discontinued and no longer available starting on January 31, 2020. You may request a separate SunTrust Mastercard® Debit Card tied to your FSUCard bank account by calling 800.SUNTRUST (786878778) or by visiting the on-campus SunTrust location before January 31, 2020.

SunTrust customers will continue to have no-fee access with their SunTrust Mastercard® Debit Card to over 2,000 SunTrust ATMs, including 6 on-campus ATMs at Florida State University. There are no other changes to the account. The account will continue to have no monthly maintenance fees and no minimum balance requirements. The no-fee account will continue to be offered by SunTrust for the FSU Community. The full-service on-campus branch is not affected by this change and will continue to provide a full range of banking services to the FSU community.

For questions or more information, please contact SunTrust at 800.SUNTRUST (786878778) or visit the on-campus SunTrust branch at 104 N. Woodward Ave (next to the FSUCard Center).
