FSU Research Mentor Academy

The FSU Research Mentor Academy is structured around a series of interactive learning sessions on topics relevant to successful mentor-mentee interactions. The training covers topics related to research mentoring relationships, such as: Aligning Expectations, Assessing Understanding, Fostering Independence, Maintaining Effective Communication, and Promoting Professional Development. This training is for FSU faculty who conduct research and creative activities and who are currently active in mentoring early career researchers, including undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs, or junior faculty.
Workshop Details
Who: STEMM disciplines will be highlighted, but all Faculty are welcome.
When: May 7, 14, & 21, 2026 at 1:30-3:30pm
