FSU Libraries Service Updates
This message has been approved by Gale Etschmaier, Dean of FSU Libraries, for distribution to students, faculty and staff.
As FSU kicks off summer sessions, FSU Libraries continue to share updated services and resources available to the campus community.
A few highlights include:
- The stacks are reopen. In person browsing of our collections in Strozier, Dirac, and the FAMU-FSU Engineering Library is now available. Curbside and in-library pick-up services will also continue.
- UBorrow services will be temporarily suspended between May 1 and July 13. This pause will allow libraries across Florida to prepare for the statewide integrated library system migration. To learn more about this upgrade and what it means for you, visit https://www.lib.fsu.edu/catalog-and-discovery-upgrades.
- Interlibrary Loan services for electronic and print resources are now available. However, there may be fulfillment delays due to library closures nationwide. Please contact lib-borrowing@fsu.edu with any questions.
- HathiTrust Digital Library Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS) ends on May 7. At this time, our stacks will be open and these items will return to normal circulation. However, our extensive online resources are always available both on- and off-campus.
