Returning this fall after a year hiatus, the FSU Libraries' Office of Digital Research and Scholarship and Research Computing Center's Interdisciplinary Data Humanities Initiative seek applicants for the Digital Research Incubator: Python for the Humanities. The Incubator provides support for faculty and students exploring digital research methods. For the 2024-2025 academic year, we invite proposals for an incubator cohort to build their data analysis skills using Python.

Proposals are due on Monday, Sept. 16, at https://incubator.create.fsu.edu/.

Cohort members will collaborate to complete the Beginner and Intermediate Python courses on Sage Campus through the fall semester and put those skills into practice on their own datasets and projects through the spring. We especially solicit proposals from graduate students and early career faculty in the humanities; however, all students and faculty are welcome to apply.
