FSU to Host Google Days 2026

Florida State University Information Technology Services is welcoming Google specialists to campus on Wednesday, Oct. 7, and Thursday, Oct. 8, for "Google Days," a two-day event featuring hands-on technology demonstrations, emerging AI tools, and professional development workshops.
The campus-wide event is part of Google for Education and will give students, faculty, and staff direct access to the latest advances in Google Workspace, Gemini AI, and Gemini Notebook.
Google Tent — Student Union Green
Oct. 7 & 8 | 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Drop by for live demos of Gemini for Google Workspace and Gemini Notebook, conversations with Google experts, and free Google merchandise.
Faculty Workshops — Innovation Hub
Oct. 7 | 9 a.m. – 2:45 p.m.
Led by specialists from the Google AI Educator Series, these 45-minute hands-on sessions cover:
- Teaching & Learning — Design process-based assessments using Gemini
- Accelerate Research — Use Gemini's Deep Research tool for literature reviews and inquiry planning
Bring a fully charged laptop or tablet. Attendees can earn official Google AI Educator digital badges by enrolling prior to their session.
