Florida State University is one of a limited number of universities to offer students free access to Kiro. Students can claim 1,000 credits per month for a full year at no cost. Encouraging your students to use this software could help them save time and energy while developing AI competency.
What is Kiro?
AWS Kiro is a spec-driven, agentic AI development environment that transforms natural language prompts into structured requirements, architectural designs, and working code. It bridges the gap between prototyping and production by using automated background tasks, event-driven hooks, and persistent steering files to enforce engineering standards
