The Florida Institute for Child Welfare (FICW), housed in the Florida State University College of Social Work, invites individuals and organizations from across the greater surrounding areas — including FSU students, faculty, staff and local residents of all ages — to participate as golfers at its inaugural Golf Invitational, taking place Monday, April 13, 2026, at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club

Proceeds from the invitational will be used to advance education and training initiatives specifically focused on strengthening the child welfare workforce — including students preparing for careers in child welfare, frontline professionals, families and researchers dedicated to supporting children and families in need.

As part of continuous efforts to make a tangible difference in the lives of children and families in Florida, the FICW is also committing 10% of all proceeds to its annual service partner, the Oasis Center for Women & Girls.

Organizations and individuals are invited to showcase their commitment throughout the green by becoming a sponsor, with a range of sponsorship levels and in‑kind opportunities available.

Sponsorship applications are due Saturday, Jan. 31, with full payment required by Sunday, March 1.

The cost to participate is $300 per player, or $1,100 per team of four — a savings of $100. Register by Friday, March 13, spots are limited.
