Faculty Forum on Academic Analytics

The Office of the Provost, Office of Faculty Development and Advancement, and the UFF-FSU together invite you to an informational session on the university’s use of Academic Analytics and other third-party analytical research indices on Friday, October 10^th, 10:00 to 11:30 in Turnbull 103.  

The session will include:

• An overview of the information provided by Academic Analytics, illuminating how research productivity, scholarly impact, and collaboration are measured and reported.
• Clarification on the ways Academic Analytics is currently used by the university as well as previewing newly adopted tools for highlighting faculty research and facilitating research collaborations.
• An open forum to address faculty questions and concerns regarding the interpretation and application of these indices in academic evaluation.

We encourage interested faculty members to attend, share their perspectives, and help shape the responsible and effective use of analytical research indices at our university.
