CTSA K2R Program: Project Management Workshop

The College of Medicine and CTSA K2R Program will be collaborating to host a virtual Project Management Workshop on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 11 AM to provide K Scholars and new faculty with an overview on research project management. Sara Green, MSW and Brenda Echeverri, MS, from the Center for Translational Behavior Science (CTBScience) will be hosting the workshop. Information on Speakers:

Sara Shaw Green, MSW, is Assistant Director of CTBScience and the faculty lead of CTBScience’s Research Development Core. She oversees the bioethical and regulatory aspects of behavioral and clinical trial research, serving as Co-Investigator and regulatory expert on multiple federally funded research projects. Sara also serves as Director of the FLEX Peer Support Program, and Project Director and Co-Investigator of the NIH-sponsored ORBIT Institute.

Brenda Echeverri, MS, is the Center Manager and Administrator at CTBScience, where she serves as a liaison between other departmental and academic organizations at FSU. With a background in Research Psychology, she provides strategic operational and research support for several teams within CTBScience and serves as the Project Manager to the NIH-sponsored ORBIT Institute. Brenda has also conducted and published independent research on the emotional mechanisms underlying post-traumatic stress and disordered eating.
