FSU's Center for Undergraduate Research and Academic Engagement (CRE) is extremely interested in learning more about students' experiences taking a Gap Year. If you have taken a Gap Year (especially between highschool and undergraduate), CRE staff would love to hear about your experience. To tell us more about your experience, please fill out our brief survey

What is a Gap Year?
a 6-12 months period, where you would not be enrolled in school to explore you interests outside of academics
 
Why Take a Gap Year?

1. Detail/Explore your personal areas of interest
2. Develop cross-cultural understandings and competencies
3. Explore and challenge your ''comfort zones''
4. Gain experiences to better your future goals
