This message has been approved by Beth Hodges, Director of the Office of Research Development, for distribution to faculty and staff.

Registration is now open for Collaborative Collision: Resilience from 4-7 p.m. on September 7th. Resilience is about being able to respond to and recover from challenging conditions, experiences, or events. Florida State University has an established culture of Resilience, and this concept is central to the research of our faculty, practiced by our staff every day, taught to and embraced by students in their studies, and lived by our alumni in their careers and lives.

The Office of Research Development is also excited to launch some major additions to Collaborative Collision, which expand the program to better serve the FSU research community.

Collaborative Incubator is a new series designed to help turn connections into collaborations. Participants will be guided through the process of developing a new team, determining a pilot project, and positioning the team for external funding success. Collaborative Incubator begins immediately following Collaborative Collision and runs through the end of the semester, culminating in the Collaborative Accelerator— a $50,000 internal funding competition.
