CDW-G New Contract

Procurement Services is pleased to announce a newly awarded contract with CDW Government, LLC (CDW-G), as our preferred supplier for IT computer hardware, peripherals and supplies. Through this relationship, CDW-G will provide the University community with the same depth and breadth of IT products as are currently available at significant discounts. Improved pricing is effective immediately in the SpearMart punch-out catalog for CDW-G.

This new contract will result in significant cost savings in key IT categories for University faculty, staff, and students. This new preferred provider relationship with CDW-G will benefit individual customers as well as the University as a whole in the following ways:

• One-stop shopping experience through SpearMart
• Competitive pricing across CDW-G’s entire service and product portfolio
• Participation in HP’s “big deal” program with competitive pricing on HP printer toner
• Access to Apple products, many priced below Apple Education Pricing
• Elimination of time spent on comparison shopping by providing the best total cost from one source
• Price match agreement where CDW-G has agreed to make efforts to match any documented competitive price quoted to FSU by other resellers
• Improved customer support with a larger dedicated team of CDW-G representatives
• Personal purchases available to FSU faculty and staff at the same discounts established for the University
