Join the Office of Faculty Development and Advancement and University Libraries from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, for the Carothers Faculty Lecture Series. This event will feature a conversation on the relationship between contemporary poetry and medical humanism, led by Andrew Epstein and Tana Jean Welch. The lecture will take place in the Bradley Reading Room, Strozier Library, and is a crossover event with the Festival of the Creative Arts.

The Milton S. Carothers Faculty Lecture Series is the longest running, regularly occurring, interdisciplinary lecture series at Florida State University. The purpose of the series is to promote the research and creative activities of FSU's faculty in an interdisciplinary environment that translates those activities across boundaries to a broad audience with an eye toward bridging academic disciplines, facilitating interdisciplinary collaborations, and promoting faculty research, on and off campus.

All lectures are free and open to the public. You attend and listen without lunch, bring your own lunch, or register for a lunch provided by FSU's Office of Research.
