Caregiver Journey of Hope is an interactive 2.5-hour workshop that aims to strengthen supportive and effective learning environments for children and youth by promoting the emotional well-being of parents, caregivers, and any individual involved in a child’s life.
The workshop is designed to support all caregivers in increasing their capacity to give support and guidance to children that will result in increasing their potential to thrive at school and home. By focusing on the impact that caregivers have on children, participants will reflect on how life, daily stressors, and reactions to stress carries over into caregiving.
Caregiver Journey of Hope enhances coping skills, builds trust and community, and identifies individual and community strengths and resources to move towards creating healthy and productive environments for children.
Refreshments will be provided.
