Apply for Martin Luther King Jr. Book Stipend

The Center for Leadership & Social Change welcomes you to participate in the Martin Luther King, Jr. Book Stipend Scholarship, a collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, the Family Connection Council, and the Black Alumni Association.

Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible for this award. Undergraduate applicants must have completed at least 15 credit hours and carry a minimum 2.5 grade point average. Graduate applicants must carry at least nine credit hours and have a minimum 3.0 grade point average. All applicants must plan to be enrolled full time at Florida State University for the subsequent academic year.

Sixteen awards of $350 will be issued as a check or direct deposit during the fall semester of the following academic year.

To apply, students must provide a transcript, a letter of recommendation, and answer four essay questions. The application is only accepted online, and is due on Dec. 7.
