Apply for CCAMPIS Childcare Assistance through FSU Childcare
This message has been approved by Shannon Staten, Executive Director of University Housing and Childcare Early Learning Center, for distribution to students, faculty and staff.
FSU Childcare is accepting applications for the CCAMPIS Fee Assistance for Childcare Services. Applicants must be FSU students with children. Parents must be an admitted, enrolled, fee paying, and degree seeking student at Florida State University, and remain enrolled in classes while receiving fee assistance. Children must be between the ages of birth to 5 years old and enrolled in a licensed and accredited childcare program. Fee assistance is also available for school age children (K-5th grade) that are enrolled in a licensed and accredited before/afterschool program.
Fee assistance is available for:
- Full-time care (infants and toddlers)
- Part-time care (infants and toddlers)
- Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten wrap-around fees
- Before/afterschool care (K-5th grade)
The maximum length of fee assistance is one semester. FSU Childcare will re-evaluate continuation of fee assistance based on the student parent’s eligibility, eligibility of child and grant fund availability. FSU Childcare may NOT pay the entire cost of childcare for approved student parents participating in the CCAMPIS Fee Assistance program. The student parent is responsible for their portion of the tuition, which is the amount not paid by the fee assistance program, and any/all outstanding balances owed to the provider. Payments are made directly to the provider.
